In September 1991, Huawei rented the third floor of the Industrial Building in Haoye Village, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, as a place to develop program-controlled switches. More than fifty young employees followed Ren Zhengfei to this dilapidated factory, starting their perilous and unknown entrepreneurial journey. They divided the entire floor into four sections: single board, power supply, general measurement, and preparation, plus a warehouse and kitchen. Youmengxin Company was established in Shenzhen in 2009, specializing in the research and development and manufacturing of LED display die-casting enclosures and supporting products. In October 2015, due to development needs, the company relocated its production base to Dongguan under the background of introducing a phase one strategic investment of 50 million (investment already in place) and a cumulative 100 million. Currently, the company has more than 500 employees, with five factory buildings in the Dongguan base, covering an area of 20,000 square meters, with a usable area of 25,000 square meters, and a production capacity of 2.4 million enclosures per year.
Youmengxin Company is committed to the technology research and development and manufacturing of magnesium alloy die-casting enclosures for LED displays, being the first in the country to apply magnesium alloy materials from the aerospace field to the manufacturing of LED display enclosures. Compared to conventional die-casting aluminum enclosures, magnesium alloy enclosures not only possess the traditional advantages of die-casting aluminum enclosures but also have advantages such as being lighter, better heat dissipation, superior shielding, and better strength. Currently, Youmengxin Company has mastered multiple core technologies for magnesium alloy enclosure manufacturing and has applied for more than 50 national patents; among them, the magnesium alloy deformation precision control technology and magnesium alloy anti-oxidation technology fill the technical gap in this field domestically.
Youmengxin Company currently has a complete production supply chain from raw material procurement to finished product assembly, including die-casting workshop, CNC workshop, painting workshop, powder coating workshop, processing workshop, and assembly workshop, making it one of the few manufacturers in the country with continuous complete production capacity for enclosures. This production model not only reduces production costs but also significantly improves production efficiency and shortens product delivery times. At the same time, the company has invested heavily in introducing a large number of well-known brand intelligent production equipment, including: one 3500T machine, two 2500T machines, three 1650T machines, one 1250T machine, three 800T machines, one 550T machine, one 350T machine at the Chongqing company, and one 2500T machine, one 1650T machine, one 1250T machine, two 800T machines, and one 500T machine at the Dongguan company, as well as 200 CNC machining centers and automatic assembly line equipment that completes all CNC processes in one go. Chongqing Youmengxin Metal Technology Co., Ltd. was established on January 14, 2021, specializing in the independent research and development, design, mold manufacturing, die-casting production, CNC processing, machining, surface treatment, spraying, assembly, sales, and service of various aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, and supporting products; it has the capacity to produce 10,000 tons of aluminum and magnesium alloy die-castings and 10,000 tons of machined products annually; its business spans multiple countries and regions in Asia, Europe, North America, Africa, and South America.
