U-MOTION and Lijin have reached a strategic cooperation, purchasing 12 sets of die-casting equipment to be deployed at the Chongqing production base.

On the morning of February 22, 2022, a signing ceremony for the bulk purchase of die-casting equipment was held at the Lijin (Shenzhen) High-tech Industrial Park between Dongguan U-MOTION Precision Die Casting Technology Co., Ltd. ("U-MOTION"), a well-known domestic LED magnesium-aluminum die-casting box manufacturer, and Lijin Group. It is reported that U-MOTION will introduce 12 sets of Lijin brand intelligent die-casting units to be deployed in its new project located in Tongliang, Chongqing.

Ms. Pan Lingling, General Manager of Shenzhen Lingwei Technology Co., Ltd., and Mr. Huang Zhongyou, Chairman of U-MOTION, signed the agreement on behalf of both companies.

Before the signing ceremony, both parties held a symposium.

 

Ms. Pan Lingling expressed gratitude to the senior management of U-MOTION for their recognition of the Lijin brand. She introduced the corporate situation of Lijin Group, as well as its technological, equipment, and solution development and manufacturing capabilities in the fields of new energy vehicles and "integrated die-casting", traditional automotive parts, 5G communications, and construction templates.

Mr. Huang Zhongyou thanked the personnel from both sides who facilitated this procurement signing. He stated: "After more than a year of communication and negotiation between both parties, we have established our confidence in the quality and service of Lijin equipment, and we are embarking on a journey of cooperation. The introduction of 12 sets of Lijin die-casting equipment is a move by U-MOTION to adapt to market development needs, layout in the new energy vehicle field, and expand new business. The purchased equipment will be used to produce magnesium-aluminum alloy die-casting components. The procurement of new equipment will inject new momentum into the company's future development."

 

Mr. Qian Zifei stated: "U-MOTION is a leading enterprise in the field of LED magnesium-aluminum die-casting boxes, holding a 30% market share in this field, with 25% of products exported overseas. As the company continues to develop and respond to the diversified needs of customers, we will extend our product line to the automotive, communications, and military industries, and invest in a new production base project in Tongliang, Chongqing. The die-casting equipment purchased this time will be deployed there."

According to the procurement agreement, U-MOTION is purchasing 12 sets of 320T--3500T die-casting units from Lijin Group Shenzhen Lingwei Technology Co., Ltd. The equipment will be delivered in two batches, with the first batch scheduled for delivery in October this year; the second batch will be delivered before the 2023 Spring Festival, and all equipment will be installed and debugged.

U-MOTION Precision Company was established in Shenzhen in 2010, specializing in the research and development and manufacturing of various magnesium alloy die-casting, aluminum alloy components, and supporting products. In 2015, due to development needs and the introduction of strategic investment, the production base was moved from Shenzhen to Dongguan. U-MOTION's magnesium-aluminum alloy die-casting components are mainly used in industries and fields such as LED display frames, communications, medical, machinery, automotive, street lights, and household appliances.

Currently, U-MOTION's Dongguan base has five factory buildings, covering an area of 20,000 square meters, with a usable area of 25,000 square meters. It has production workshops for die-casting (with die-casting machines of different models ranging from 500-2000T), CNC, powder coating, machining, assembly, etc., forming a complete production supply chain from raw material procurement to finished product assembly, with an annual output of various components reaching 3 million pieces. The under-construction production base in Chongqing Tongliang covers an area of 50 acres and is expected to officially start production after the 2023 Spring Festival.
